Rootedness through repetition
in-betweeen: Remnant
(Research)
Persistence emerges through repetition, where dense woven clusters reappear across the surface, establishing moments of grounding within an otherwise open field.
Rather than remaining fixed, these anchors are continuously reconstructed through
the movement of the thread, suggesting that rootedness is sustained through ongoing acts of making and remembrance.
The weave carries a rhythm of return and renewal, reflecting how cultural knowledge, traditions, and collective identities endure not through permanence,
but through their continuous recreation across time, distance, and change.
